A beautiful piece of Dutch Design, we can rightly talk about that with this table!
This teak table is very strong in design by Louis van Teeffelen for manufacturer WéBé.
In this organization, several large furniture stores were represented. Because of their volume and market share, they could have their own collection made by various manufacturers, which was of very high quality and always according to the latest design trends.
This is also how our model "Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht" came into being, with in the base the Milan table from WéBé, which was adapted at various points to become even more user-friendly and beautiful.
The main difference with the Milan table is that the intermediate leaf fits nicely between the horizontal joints, making the table look very sleek when extended or retracted.
The table is easy to extend and through a hidden under the leaf tilt / tumble piece easy to extend, the table has a very nice construction, the tumble leaf falls into the side of the table when extended, so that a very tight whole is created.
The table is still in a very nice neat well cared for condition and was once a top class piece of furniture that has been neatly handled all these years, the former owners were also always careful with it.
The traces of use are not exceptional for a piece of furniture par excellence as a dining room table, we mention for completeness only minimal pits the size of a pinhead, hardly noticeable.
