Fantastic Mid - Century Dutch Design! This beautiful armchair is a design attributed to master designer Louis van Teeffelen who worked for the furniture factory of Walraven & Bevers. For the firm WéBé, in the mid-1960s, he designed several beautiful pieces of furniture that excelled in material choice and design. The organic shapes are very striking and reminiscent of the Scandinavian design language, yet are very much his own. The designs also feature Japanese influences. This is a relatively rare model, also known as the "Penguin Chair". Very exclusive in a beautiful, fully restored condition, a jewel for any interior. This chair is completely restored to new condition, or even better than new condition dare we say, and completely restored with an eye for detail and craftsmanship. The fabric, which you can read about here, has been applied with the utmost precision in the same way as it was applied in the factory and also with an unprecedented beautiful color. Only the best craftsmen and the best materials were chosen for the restoration. Only then do you really do justice to its origin and designer when restoring a design classic like this piece of furniture.
