Product description
Beautiful layered work by Annette van de Vegte (1945-2021), painted through on the sides (no frame needed). In Groningen she took drawing and painting classes at Academie Minerva for 2 years. After this she took painting lessons for 10 years at the Gooise Academie in Laren with Rombout Berkelaar and Nikki van Es. Since 1993 she worked independently in her studio in Huizen. Impermanence is an important theme for her. For Annette an important question is whether the perception of reality should be more important in my painting than experimenting with form, line and color. She uses acrylic paint, sand and paper when painting. sometimes combined with pasting painted pieces of linen and painted paper on canvas and panel. Strongly diluted paint she combines with thick paint right out of the tube.
Light signs of use here and there at the edges.
