Product description
The Lotek lamp was designed in 1982 by Benno Premsela and is a floor lamp that is today one of the best-known design classics in Dutch lighting. This lamp fits in both a modern and Vintage interior. Height is 60 cm, the shade is 30 x 30 x 30 cm; Non-woven fleece cloth, metal; Benno Premsela (1920-1997) was the son of the well-known Jewish general practitioner Bernard Premsela. He studied interior design at the “Nieuwe Kunstschool” before and after the Second World War. During the war he was forced to interrupt his education and go into hiding. In his minimalist work, beauty and functionality are closely related. Spectacular shop windows were created under his leadership as head of the window display and interior design department of the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. Benno Premsela has designed several products, but his most famous design is this Lotek Lamp.
