Fine lithograph (57 x 77 cm) including frame depicting the 1927 Victorian-style Niels Esperson Building in Houston. Jean Paul Vroom (1922 - 2006) was a painter and graphic artist as well as a filmmaker, theater designer, photographer and illustrator. In the lithograph above, he shows the contrast between what was then (1979) modern Houston and what for Americans was "classic" Houston.
