Modern canvas by the Rotterdam painter Liesbeth van Ginneken, signed on the back.
It represents the literal and figurative slipper... 70 x 200 cm
Bought directly from the artist in 2000 for over 7,000 guilders. There is an overview booklet in which the painting is mentioned as part of our collection.
The canvas is in excellent condition from the front as we always looked, but when we took it off the wall we saw that there was a 2 cm gap. see picture. That seems to be easy to fix, but we have never tried because we never noticed it.
