About the designer
Jan Armgardt (1947) considers it immoral to throw away a piece of furniture because it is worn out or old-fashioned after only a few years. Armgardt therefore experiments with materials and has sustainability as the main goal in his designs. According to Armgardt, paper is the material of the future. Jan Armgardt has been designing for Leolux since 1974. As his design philosophy suggests, many of his designs are timeless, such as the Tango, Volare, Papageno and Julita.
