LeJan Art Deco Sculpture 'Lion Peugeot' | France, 1934 | Good Condition.
Art Deco crackle sculpture by designer LeJan, made at the Faïencerie de Saint-Etienne, France between 1934 and 1940.
This sculpture is included in "Les Animaux en Céramique 1920-1940" by Patrick Malaureille, on page 53.
The running lion was given to concessionaires of the Peugeot car brand at the time.
Good condition except for a small chip on the underside of the tray, right back and a small crack in the glaze at the bottom.
