Beautiful Leifheit Galileo thermos jug, a true design icon from the 1990s. Designed by the renowned German designer Hans Erich Slany.
Characteristics:
- Style: modernism, mid-century, minimalist, Memphis Style.
- Shape: a spherical insulated vacuum tea pot on tripod legs
- Material: plastic (injection molded polypropylene) and has a glass inner container.
- Function: The teapot has a screw-on lid with a leter that releases part of the inner seal, allowing the contents to be poured without removing the lid.
- Dimensions: 20 cm high, 22 cm wide, 17 cm deep.
- Weight: 600 grams.
This vintage thermos, included in the Museum of Design in Plastics, is a rare find and is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
