Vintage Le Bambole armchair designed by Mario Bellini in 1972 for B&B Italia.
Iconic model with a generous, rounded design for absolute comfort. Awarded the "Compasso d'Or" in 1979 (international design prize created by Gio Ponti in 1954).
First version from the 70's with polyurethane foam on internal steel frame.
The current version is no longer designed in this way.
This Bambole has been completely restored with electric-blue fabric by French brand Casamance, linen/cotton woven with 100% natural products and bearing the Oeko-Tex label: the first certification to guarantee human-ecological qualities. (removable and washable).
Our partner upholsterer, who has 40 years' experience, also made a fine canvas undercover for greater comfort. Remarkable work.
