Hand-carved and hand-painted wooden cat head by artist and designer Laurel Burch (1945 - 2007), famous for her representations of cats. The cat's head is blue with black features, white pupils and purple, yellow and red eyelids. A removable base at the back of the piece allows it to stand upright. Good overall condition, with a few traces of age slightly visible on the back, including slight paint losses (see photos). Dimensions 12.5H x 10 x 7.
