Incredible large opaline crystal vase, white interior, orange exterior, imitating Chinese porcelain, early craftsmanship, attributed to the Baccarat house, red B signature under the base. Late 19th century, Napoleon III style. Scroll shape with flared neck and body, slightly flattened underneath. Fine hand-painted decoration on front and sides of bindweed with knotted black and purple stems, large green leaves, beige flowers and small beige and purple fruits. On the front, a beige bird sits on one of the stems. Touches of cream enamel on the petals, the bird's feathers and the fruit, providing a slight relief. Gold-edged neck rim. 29.5cm max. height, 17-18cm max. diameter. Very good condition, no accidents, slight wear over time, small rubs (notably one near the neck) or very discreet, harmonious manufacturing defects on the surface, deformation at the neck, slightly random shape, craftsmanship.
