Very beautiful and rare, large plate in Limoges porcelain or cookie porcelain, cameo style. Sky-blue background and profile of Christ with crown of thorns, white, golden crown. Early circa 1930-1940, no visible signature but possible under the frame or on the back. Gilded wood frame, wide moulding. Back closed with a craft leaf. Plate 28cm high by 21cm wide, or more under the frame. Frame 33cm high by 26cm wide, max. 3cm thick. Very good overall condition, gilding on the crown intact, no chips, cracks or other visible defects on the porcelain, traces of wear on the gilding of the frame and small discreet age-related defects.
