Product description
Incredible French Expressionist plexiglass composition depicting ocean pollution around the world. The light areas represent continents, the colored areas ocean pollution. A multicolored plastic lace patiently hand-cut from household product cans. Each pastille is stapled to the next to form this astonishing world map. Dated: 2006 Frame size: 122x80cm Purchased some fifteen years ago at the Marché Paul Bert in Paris. I no longer know who the artist is, I've lost the documents concerning the work unfortunately, I can't find any trace of it on the web and the tenant of the stand where I bought it has changed. The plexiglass is in good condition, with traces of age.
