A masterwork of Ambiental Art, crafted in the legendary Barovier i Toso ateliers, pure Mid Century, Art Deco Modernist design, the most elusive "Arctic Ice" series. Entirely crafted out of mouth blown/hand formed Murano "cristallo tirato" (pulled crystal) icicles on white painted metal support structure, fastened with brass spheres, emitting a most pleasantly refracted light. Note: The "cristallo tirato" technique is considered highest craftsmanship in the Glass Art world, and very few glass masters possess the necessary skill to execute such pure art, making this item an absolutely unique masterpiece. Note: The color of the support structure can be changed to any color that the customer desires, by us, free of charge. Uses 8 E14 light bulbs... for a warmer/goldish light, 2700K or less LED light bulbs need be used, while for a whiter/colder light, 4000K or higher LED light can be used. Estimated value $6000-$6500, offered here for collection price. Measurements: Height (adjustable) 30cm-85cm (11.81-33.46 inches), Diameter-56cm (22.05 inches), Weight - approx 33kg (70 lbs). In impeccable, museum like condition, complete with all original parts, perfectly functional. Note: The rubber spacers, even though original, have yellowed due to age, however, they can be replaced at the client's request with new, transparent ones, no cost.
