Julia Kiryanova is a multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Kiryanova uses the techniques of paintings, directing performances and tufting tapestries. Kiryanova is known for her paintings and performances in which she uses naked bodies and confronts vulnerability with sexuality. Freedom of expression, sensuality and boldness are the basis of all her works. Her performances show the beauty and cruelty of nudity. J. Kiryanova has exhibited her work in Amsterdam, Museum Lieve Ons Op Solder, The National Holocaust Museum, Galerie Untitled, Rotterdam; Josilda da Conceição gallery, Amsterdam, SBK gallery and at Cokkie Snoei.
