Product description
During his Bauhaus time, Marcel Breuer experimented with the materials steel and tubular steel. He did this by applying the principles for making wooden furniture to this new material as well. The proximity to Junkers' machine factories in Dessau came in very handy for this. His first designs included the set tables B 9, various wall shelves and occasional furniture. The entire collection was included in the "insert book," the 1930/31 Thonet catalog. The B 9 set tables were in the cafeteria of the Bauhaus building designed by Walter Gropius. Today, these elegant designs come into their own in home and project design.
the condition is very good, you can see a few shallow scratches on the blade.
