Product description
The original model of the Antimott lounge chair from the 1920s is in incredibly good condition. Elegant, functional and super comfortable! The grain of the wood is fantastically beautiful. The Antimott upholstery struts are in very good condition. The upholstery shines in a golden tone. Wilhelm Knoll revolutionized the traditional upholstery technique with his "Antimott" range. In 1927, the Werkbund exhibition "The Apartment" at the Stuttgart Weissenhof under the direction of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe set global standards for modern building and living. Walter Knoll furnishes five of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's apartments and nine apartments in total with his furniture. This armchair is a piece of history for your home. If you wish, your new furniture will be delivered to your home well packed and with insured shipping. Collection is also possible. This is a private sale. The sale takes place under exclusion of any warranty!
The armchair shows the usual signs of vintage use to a minimal extent.
