Product description
The '205' chair is a design by Wim Rietveld and W.H. Gispen from 1954, manufactured by Kembo. The backrest features a playful, round shape that embraces the sitter. The thin tubular frame is made of black enameled steel, showing a nice patina. Attached with brass screws. Beautifully reupholstered a few years ago in a dark grey and brown woven wool blend, fabric still in great condition. There are two issues, one in need of repair: the legs are stable and level but slightly crooked, it has always been that way since I've had it but you can't tell when sitting; the backrest has come loose on one side, should be looked at by a professional. Normally I would have it repaired before selling, but fine with letting it go for a small price.
