Framed watercolor by Kees Verwey. Title: "Phloxes". The work has a very good provenance, namely art dealer ML de Boer. The sticker is on the back. A floral representation with the label of ML on the back. Year: 1990. Dimensions incl frame: H64 x W51.5cm. Dimensions representation: H39 x W29cm. The work is at the bottom left, signed by the artist. The authenticity of the work offered is fully guaranteed. A certificate of authenticity can be emailed upon request.
Frames: Damages to frames are not described. If a work is framed behind glass, the glass is broken, this will be mentioned. Reflections may be visible in photos of framed works.
When purchasing, the work can be picked up in 's-Gravenzande (near The Hague (Scheveningen), Rotterdam and Delft and 5 minutes from the beach). The term for collection, if paid in advance, is very long, ie the buyer can collect the work weeks or even months later and, if possible, combine it with a visit to one of the aforementioned cities or the beach. Kees Verwey (Amsterdam, April 20, 1900 - Haarlem, July 23, 1995) was a Dutch painter, watercolorist and draftsman. He was a cousin of the poet and man of letters Albert Verwey and of Hendrik Petrus Berlage, both of whom were his uncles. He himself was the uncle of Jacqueline de Savornin Lohman.
