Product description
Naeko chandelier by Kazuide Takahama for Sirrah. Designed in Japan around 1970. This lamp is made of white silk and is supported by brass clips and pearl snaps. The lamp has an E27 fitting and we have installed an LED in it, which is included. Kazuhide Takahama (1920-2013) was a Japanese-born, Italian-inspired lighting and furniture designer. Takahama worked and taught in Japan, but eventually moved to Bologna, Italy in 1963, where he built relationships and collaborations with renowned Italian designers. Takahama's work reflects this east and west design fusion with a modern touch. He has collaborated with Gavina, Cassina, Paradisoterrestre and B&B Italia, among others. Takahama's Saghi Lounge Chair in the MoMA permanent collection.
