Blue standing table lamp Toobe by Kartell. This lamp was designed by Ferruccio Laviani. Ferruccio Laviani is an Italian designer born in 1960. His work emerged from the 1990s within the Memphis Group. An architect by training, graduated in 1978, he creates industrial design objects, mainly lamps or lighting systems, using mainly colored transparent plastic materials, such as polycarbonate or PMMA (Plexiglas). He works with the company Kartell, which produces several of his creations, including the Bourgie Lamp or the Max Table. Since 2015, he has been artistic director. He collaborates with other companies and designers such as Foscarini, Achille Castiglioni and Ettore Sottsass.
