For sale is a very well preserved red desk lamp by Kaiser Idell with the model number 6786 from the 1950s, designed in the 1930s by Christian Dell.
The trained silversmith Christian Dell headed the metal workshop of the Bauhaus in Weimar from 1922 to 1925 and designed lamps from 1926 onwards, e.g. for Koranda Licht in Vienna and for the lighting factory Gebr.
The addition 'Idell' to the Kaiser luminaires is made up of the words 'Idee' and 'Dell'.
