Vintage desk lamp from the French brand JUMO model 850 GD.
The French lighting company was founded in the 1940s by Yves JUjeau and Pierre and André MOunique. The first 2 letters of both names together form JUMO. According to other sources, JUMO is said to come from "Juvenile et Moderne' ," reflecting the brand's vision: youthful, modern designs that are both functional and stylish.
This model is quite rare. More famous is model 71.
This specimen has been decapped. The original paint was completely gone (rusted) but a very nice industrial patina appeared in its place. Lamp has a clear coat (transparent varnish) for protection.
For lovers of an industrial / Loft style.
