A very nice vintage and internally illuminated globe features a brass base and frame.
The globe is from the 60s and was made in Germany by JRO-Verlag Munich. The globe is made of glass topped with a sports paper that is smooth finished.
Very nice object to stand alone in a room.

The lighting works through a push switch and works as shown. Has only in one place some damage in the paper see photo.
