The Hague artist Jozef van de Horst (1946) is known for his conceptual art (objects).
This abstract, colorful painting with geometric shapes is entitled "Colour City". It dates from 1992 and has been exhibited in Finland (Turka Art Museum) together with works by 9 other Dutch artists.

Jozef van der Horst (Voorburg, May 30, 1946) is a Dutch graphic artist who lives and works in The Hague. From 1963 to 1969 he studied Graphic Design at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
Van der Horst has focused on making plastic and kinetic objects. In addition to spatial works, he also makes wall objects, paintings and drawings. Characteristic of his style are geometric shapes, bright colors and light. The materials used vary greatly.
Since 1972, his work has been shown in various galleries and museums. He also regularly carries out assignments for municipalities such as The Hague (light object Gemeentemuseum Den Haag) and Leeuwarden (Sculpture Porta Futura, Kronenberger Park, Leeuwarden). In 2018 he won the Jacob Hartog Prize.
From 2006 to 2013, Van der Horst held a board position at Pulchri Studio, where his work was previously shown in both group and solo exhibitions. (source: Wikipedia)
