In 1972, when Miró was 79 years old, he created a series of color lithographs for his catalogue raisonné "Lithography I." The world-famous motif "The Singing Fish" is one of the most beautiful of these motifs. In this work, Miró interprets the sea with its vibrant life in his characteristic style. Winding fibers and floating lines culminate in "The Singing Fish." This color offset lithograph has never been framed and is kept in dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper.
