Offering THE PHILOSOPHER snowboard designed by JEFF KOONS in collaboration with JAKE BURTON CARPENTER. 1 out of an edition of 50 (and 20 for Koons himself) worldwide. Came out in 2014-2106. A philosophy by a true contemporary artist, art and sports object. Most of the snowboards from this edition will have been used by now, seeing it saw the light of day about 10 years ago. This one is unused, stored in a dry place and fully protected. The board is housed in a beautiful leather covering, and proudly signed by Jeff Koons and Jake Burton Carpenter, as well as carrying with its own individual number. From the internet: Burton founder Jake Burton and Jeff Koons collaborated on the design of a limited-edition snowboard titled The Philosopher. Featuring visual graphics created by Jeff Koons and technical aspects designed by Jake Burton, The Philosopher was crafted by hand at Burton Headquarters in Vermont where only 50 of the limited-edition snowboards were produced. Koons's design features the largest foil stamps ever to be used as part of a snowboard graphic.
