Jean Emile Podevin was a sculptor and painter born in 1925 and died in 2011. Abstract composition .1990. Boulogne billancourt Friend of Jacques Prévert, Emmanuel Roblès and Roger Ikor, his works can be found in numerous private collections. He won the Salon de Boulogne prize in the 1960s. He was made a Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur and awarded the Palmes Académiques. In his work, he strives for perfect harmony between space and volume. His highly personal, dynamic style gives pride of place to movement and light. In 2010, Espace Landoski presented an exhibition of his drawings and paintings on themes such as women, bullfighting and Morocco.
