Product description
The "Jangada" chair, inspired by the traditional fishing boats of Brazil, is a masterpiece of functional art designed by Jean Gillon. It comprises a chair and a stool, both known for their unique shape and design. The solid frames of the Jangada chair, made from Brazilian jacaranda, are characterized by a unique grain. This grain looks absolutely fascinating in natural light and forms a perfect contrast to the camel-colored leather. The forged shapes of the chair are amazing and the fishnet seat cushions are in pristine condition. It is easy to see that Jean Gillon drew his inspiration for this truly exceptional chair from the traditional fishing boats of Brazil.

Slight signs of wear, patina due to age. The armchair and footstool come from a very well-kept, pet- and smoke-free household.
