He made acrylic windows, drawings and oil canvases, among other things. Jan Murk de Vries has had many exhibitions at home and abroad over the years.
The special character of the old town, the compromise between land and water, the sea air and the wide view of the Noorderhaven – all this formed the ideal backdrop for an extroverted 'loner', for whom the choice for nature and isolation is never over. at the expense of his warm interest in people.
