Manufacturer: Jacob & Josef Kohn Design period: 1890 to 1919 Color: Brown, yellow Materials: Beech wood, wicker Jacob and Josef Kohn played an important role in the furniture industry. The merger with Mundus in 1914 and later with Gebrüder Thonet in 1921 resulted in the creation of the largest furniture manufacturer in the world. This collaboration brought not only a wide range of innovative design and craftsmanship, but also a further spread of the iconic Thonet style. Kohn's legacy is thus an important part of the history of the furniture industry.
