Stunning vintage Hollywood Regency Sputnik Spider ceiling light from the 1950 period is finished in beautiful silky black combined with warm gold polished brass. The suspension features 8 stylized black "springs" with brass decorative knobs on the underside all around. From the central "heart" spring 8 slender brass arms. The support arms have beautifully shaped curves and all end in a black lamp holder housing the candle lamps.
The 8 lamp holders feature a small (E14) socket. Suitable for all common LED, energy-saving and incandescent bulbs. The diameter of the lamp is 70 cm. The total height is 90 cm.
This exceptional midcentury lamp is not signed or branded. The lamp is executed in the style of-and presumably from-the Stilnovo workshop.
