Title "Time Goes So Fast,
Iris Hartman (1958)
It always starts with an image that begins to form after I have read or seen something and then gradually begins to translate itself into form and color.
My work can be called landscape abstract and they are often combinations of clean lines/objects in an alienating landscape.
The linear forms combined with colors and the layering of paint in a painting are combinations that continually captivate me.
The intention is not to present the viewer with a ready-made image, there should be enough room to let his or her feelings determine themselves.
