Painting by Ineke te Kaate called "the Provence" Technique is silk paint, gouache. Beautiful planed frame with the size 80x60 cm. Certificate is present. Ineke ten Kaate, artist The artist was born in 1945 in Hoorn. In her youth she received her first private drawing lessons from the well-known West Frisian artist Adriaan Volkers in Hoorn (paintings in the Westfries Museum). Weekly the beautiful drawings with Vincent van Gogh's pollard willows or subjects after nature were copied by Ineke. Art became her life and by taking various courses she continued to develop over the years. She was always fascinated by the interplay of water and pigments, which is the intricate process of watercolor painting. After this, she further developed in the techniques of oil and acrylic or mixed media. In 1980 she graduated from the College of Art and Creativity (medical) and then took various art courses in Amsterdam and Laren. Also private lessons with well-known artists. Since 1990 Ineke ten Kaate has her own gallery/atelier in Amersfoort and the organization of many master-class sessions. She was also a member of the Art Route of Amersfoort.
