Ina Buisman is a Dutch painter and is considered a specific abstract expressionist painter active around the 1980s. 'Breathing' is a beautifully balanced work both in color and composition. Her great source of inspiration was Jackson Pollock for his "drip technique. Pollock who painted his famous works in the 50's and 60's, leaving behind a large body of work. His method originated by placing the canvas horizontally on the floor to ensure the overview of color distribution and composition. This was called "All over painting and Action painting.
