This "Pirkka" dining room set is a beautiful example of Finnish modern design. This design by Ilmari Tapiovaara won multiple gold medals at the Milan Triennale in the 1950s and is produced by Laukaan Puu.
This set consists of a table and 4 chairs. The table top, seats and backrests are made of solid Finnish pine, while the legs are made of black lacquered beech.
The design is known for its compact size, making it ideal for smaller living spaces.
In overall very good condition, with minimal signs of use and on 2 chairs some minor damage to the lacquer on the legs.
