Up for sale is a set of fully restored original Illum Wikkelsø lounge chairs and ottoman in "like new" condition.

Description:
Solid teak frame, modularly constructed, with oval armrests and high-quality finger dovetailing on the front; Seat frame fitted with new straps and new protective stretch fabric with additional foam inserts; new upholstery foam cushions reupholstered on both sides and usable as well as individually removable and fitted with a zip.
Seams are all designed as elegant felled seams (with this type of seam, the individual cover parts interlock like finger hooks and are then sewn twice. This type of seam is therefore considerably more robust, has a significantly higher tensile strength and is significantly more durable than single / standard seams).

A particularly robust and heavy (almost 700 g/rm) premium cover material with a very beautiful, distinctive woven look was chosen here, with the duo tones bringing out the woven structure even better. This structurally strong upholstery fabric is easy to care for, hard-wearing and has also been treated with stain protection. It is characterized by a very high abrasion resistance of over 100,000 abrasion cycles and is therefore twice as durable as cover materials, which are used for public facilities with very heavy use. (highest quality range according to Martindale) (from 50,000 abrasion cycles) The light fastness level is greater than 5.
