Curved plywood with cutouts and inside the lamp itself is a layer of white plastic that allows a nice diffused light through. There is a very long cable with a push switch. This lamp needs a bulb with a thick socket. There is an extra bracket included if you want to hang the lamp further from the wall.
Designed by Kurt & Marianne Hagberg in the 1990s for Ikea. The designers were clearly inspired by the typical Japanese minimalist style. This lamp is in a clean condition, wood not discolored, no dents etc.
