Description:
Beautiful sofa by Pier Luigi Frighetto. He is the founder of the Italian interior design company BlackTie. This sofa was made in 1996 in collaboration with Roberto Lazzeroni (known for the Martha Rocking chair) and Ross Lovegrove, he is a British industrial designer, better known for his work at Sony Walkman. Via email, Pier Luigi Frighetto confirmed that this sofa was indeed designed by him. Later, he also used the photo sent to him on his Instagram @pierfrig.
This unique sofa is made of high quality cow leather with high quality stitching. The seat is made with zebrawood veneer on plywood. Combined with the steel legs give this sofa the look of luxury. The flexible legs can rotate so that this sofa also stands firmly on uneven floors. The cushions have special ventilation holes so that the seat always remains at a comfortable temperature.
This spacious sofa looks good in any modern interior, whether you go for mid-century, Scandinavian or urban-modern. The smooth and sturdy design is inviting to sit on. The sofa is great for visitors or curled up in the evening with a blanket and a cup of tea for a good movie. The sturdy ears on the armrest give a cozy feeling.

Condition: very good condition. The cushions were recently padded for a better sitting experience. There are 2 small scratches, 1 on the railing on the inside and 1 on the seat. These are hardly noticeable. (See last pictures for a close-up of this.)
