Charles Pollaci PETIT MAITRE DE LA,PEINTURE FRANCAISE Charles Pollaci was a figurative painter and lithographer born in Nice on October 19, 1907 and died in Quetteville on June 29, 1988. As a young man, he left his native Nice for the capital, where he attended the Académie Frochot in Montmartre and received guidance from André-François Breuillaud and Paul Mascart. He lived in a small house in Houilles and was affiliated with the École de Pontoise - he is considered its leader - until 1960, when he moved to Honfleur. Charles Pollaci died in Honfleur in 1988 and is buried in the Sainte-Catherine de Honfleur cemetery.
