Marc de Groot, 2008. This revealing hanging lamp has a strong and graphic image thanks to the visible arch construction of spring steel and stretch fabric. Glow is manufactured in the workshop of a social enterprise in The Hague by employees who are at a distance from the labor market. For the design, Marc de Groot was inspired by classic spoke wheels from the 1920s. Due to the open construction, the light is not only directed downwards but also upwards, which gives a pleasant lighting effect in the room. Winner of the 100% Design prize in 2006. Previously sold under the name Eikelenboom.
