Work by Hilbert Boxem is included in the collections of major museums. Boijmans van Beuningen, Central Museum in Utrecht, Princessehof in Leeuwarden and in private collections.
Hilbert is educated in ceramics at the Institute for Applied Arts Education in Amsterdam. Works eg. with Pieter Groeneveldt in Voorschoten and with Jean Tessier in France. Starts his own studio in 1967 together with Adriana Baarspul.
