This armchair, crafted by Hermann Fleiner and designed by Albert Haberer, is an exquisite example of mid-century modern craftsmanship. Made in Germany in the 50s, this chair is renowned for its elegant simplicity and exceptional quality, blending classic design elements with a sophisticated aesthetic. The frame, constructed from rich cherry wood, is meticulously finished to showcase the wood’s natural grain and warm tones. It features clean lines and a robust structure, reflecting Haberer’s dedication to functional beauty. The chair boasts a flexible backrest, secured by a leather strap, which enhances both comfort and visual appeal.Although the chair was once glued at the back, it remains stable and well-crafted. It is also adorned with a bluish cushion, which is fastened with a leather strap. Another chair without a cushion is available. Please feel free to reach out if you are interested.
There are some minor scratches on the armrest. A spot above one of the chair legs has been glued; please see the pictures for details.
