Beautiful large vintage hand-turned stoneware teapot or coffee pot, ash glazed in khaki and russet tones, in the style of Baudat, unsigned. Circular shape, slightly flared at the bottom. Large, thick full-height handle, long raised spout on base. Small round domed lid. 26cm high max, 21.5cm high without lid. Approx. 11cm max. diameter, approx. 20cm max. width beak+handle. Very good overall condition, however, a microchip on the handle, quite discreet, as well as an accident on the lid, glued knob, relatively inconspicuous clean old repair. Manufacturing faults at the 2 bases of the handle and spout, rather discreet firing cracks. Approx. 2kg.
