HERMES is the Rolls Royce among typewriters. No brand surpasses the quality of this Swiss brand. This Hermes 8 Standard from the Paillard factory in Yverdon Switzerland is a fine example. Completely checked by me personally, cleaned, adjusted if necessary and provided with new ribbon. Good for another round of 60 years..... Serial number: 8090334 from 1962. The body is gray-green metal and the knobs and keys are a beautiful mint color. Equipped with a French AZERTY keyboard. This typewriter is very robust and heavy, so actually belongs on a desk or table and is meant to last a lifetime under extreme working conditions. Think of a journalist or secretary. Size: 46 x 30 x 11 cm. Weight: 10.5 kilograms. Comes with a transparent dust cover and a copy of the original instruction manual.
