The Aeron chair: one of the most successful office furniture pieces in history. Casual and timeless, while simultaneously representing the highest level of ergonomics. Designers Don Chadwick and Bill Stumpf created a work chair that is both ergonomically and aesthetically superior. The basic idea behind the design is to make it easier for office workers who spend a large part of their day sitting. This is ensured by the use of the N835 Pellicle membrane, used for the first time for the seat and backrest, and the kinematic patent as an innovative tilting mechanism. At its launch, the Aeron was the first office chair of its kind to forgo traditional upholstery. The Aeron chair was awarded the ""Design of the Decade"" by the Industrial Designers Society of America and named the best work tool at the National Ergonomic Conference and Exhibition. The Aeron is a permanent exhibit in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The chairs have been technically inspected and re-lubricated. We provide the chair with new arm pads and new lumbar supports.
