Bought from a gallery in Haren (Groningen). This is not often offered.
Signed lower right and numbered in pencil (10/125).
In a beautiful, wooden matt silver frame of 104 x 132 cm and passe-partout opening is 78 x 105 cm
Herman Brood was born in Zwolle on November 5, 1946 and was a singer, pianist and actor
and author, also a well-known painter. He distinguished himself not only by his
characteristic singing voice but also through his explicit painting.
Years full of sex, drugs and rock & roll finally killed him when he died on July 11, 2001.
