Henriette Johanna Reuchlin-Lucardie (1877-1970) Still life Oil on board. 25 cm x 25 cm (33 cm x 33 cm with frame) Henriëtte Johanna Reuchlin-Lucardie studied at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Her teachers included Antoon Derkzen van Angeren, Alexander van Maasdijk, Simon Moulijn and Ferdinand Oldewelt. She exhibited with the artist group De Onafhankelijken from 1919 to 1963. In 1930, she had a solo exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. In 1950, she had another solo exhibition at the Museum Het huis van Looy in Haarlem. Her work was included in the exhibition Onze Kunst van Heden at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam in 1939. She was a member of Arti et Amicitiae, Kunstenaarsvereniging Sint Lucas and the Rotterdamsche Kunstenaars-Sociëteit. Reuchlin-Lucardie died on Sept. 22, 1970, in Rotterdam. Her works have been exhibited in numerous museums throughout the Netherlands.
