Small ceiling lamp (or wall lamp) ' Bubbles ' by Helena Tynell (born Turpeinen in Finland) for Glashütte Limburg (Germany). Vintage. From 60s or 70s (Mid - Century). Iridescent glass with amber to orange shades in gradient. Brass holder. These lamps are reminiscent of soap bubbles and produce a very pleasant light. They made the reputation of Helena Tynell, who became one of the most influential Scandinavian designers in the field of glassware, as did Tapio Wirkkala. Dim. (Width*Dp*Hgt): 20 x 20 x 18 cm.
